Cerâmica e povoamento rural medieval no troço médio-inferior do Vale do Guadiana (Alentejo, Portugal))

Abstract

The following paper presents the study of pottery from 4 of 27 sites attributed to medieval and modern periods in an area between the rivers Guadiana and Degebe. These sites, which had in general a reduced stratigraphy, mainly due to the structures destroyed farm work, presented a very poor material culture. These sites are obvious marks of continuity, especially in the construction techniques of the structures preserved and the ceramics of local production, of manufacturing simple techniques.
