A publicação do Jornal de Bellas Artes, ou Mnémosine Lusitana [Lisboa, 1816- 1817], da responsabilidade editorial de Pedro Alexandre Cavroé [Lisboa, 1776-1844], é um marco incontornável da imprensa periódica em Portugal. Contribuiu para propagar as ideias revolucionárias que triunfaram na Revolução Liberal de 1820 e para o progresso da imprensa periódica artística.The publication of the Jornal de Bellas Artes, ou Mnémosine Lusitana [Lisbon, 1816-1817], from editorial responsibility of Peter Alexander Cavroé [Lisbon, 1776-1844], is an essential framework of the periodical press in Portugal. The Jornal contributed to propagate revolutionary ideas that triumphed in the Liberal Revolution of 1820, and for the advancement of artistic periodical press.
