A Evolução da Organização e do Quadro de Oficiais da Arma de Artilharia – Da República à actualidade

Abstract

Este trabalho pretende identificar e analisar a evolução da organização e do quadro de oficiais da arma de Artilharia - da República até a actualidade. Entendemos ser um tema de rande importância, porque o estudo das reorganizações leva-nos a compreender as organizações actuais e, ao mesmo tempo, capacita-nos para prever as tendências das futuras alterações. Definimos como objectivo deste trabalho proporcionar um estudo sobre a influência das diversas reorganizações do Exército ao longo do século XX, na organização das unidades de Artilharia e na sua relação com o efectivo de oficiais do Quadro Permanente (QP) da arma, nas importantes fases da 1ª Guerra Mundial, no contexto da Defesa Antiaérea e Costeira durante a 2ª Guerra Mundial, com a adesão à NATO na década de 1950, durante a Guerra em África e no pós 25 de Abril de 1974. Salientamos que as mais profundas alterações na organização destes quadros orgânicos são concomitantes a grandes alterações no panorama político-social Português, pelo que a contextualização histórica assume especial relevância. Para a execução do presente trabalho foram privilegiadas as formas bibliográfica e documental, a partir das quais foi possível dar resposta à questão central: “ Como evoluiu a organização e os efectivos do quadro de oficiais de Artilharia da República até a actualidade?”

Abstract This work intends to identify and analyse the evolution of the organization and of Artillery Arms Officers Steering Board of the Republic until today. We acknowledge it as being a very important theme, since the study of reorganizations allows us understanding present organisations and, at the same time, enable us to predict the tendencies of future changes. We defined as objective of this work to provide a study about the influence of the several reorganizations of the Army throughout the XX Century, in the organization of the Artillery Units and in their relation with the officers effectives of the Permanent Board of the Arms, in the important phases of the 1 stWorld War, in the context of Coast and Anti-aircraft Defense during the 2ndWorld War, with the adhesion to NATO in the 1950 decade, during the War in Africa and in post 25 April of 1974. We stand out that the most profound changes in the organization of these organic boards are in accordance with big changes in Portuguese sociopolitical frame, the reason why this historical context is of special relevance. To make this work, we privileged the use of documental and bibliographical means from which it was possible to answer the central question:”How did the organization and the Artillery Effectives of the Officers Steering Board of the Republic evolutes until today?”
